Saqib Chadhar faces new Allegations as Hamza Habib claims their Lives are at risk

LAHORE – The dispute between Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal and PML-N MPA Saqib Chadhar has taken a more serious turn after Iqbal's husband, Hamza Habib, made allegations of an alleged threat to their lives. In a recent Instagram Story, Habib said that efforts to turn people against him and his family had allegedly failed. He further alleged that the situation had now escalated, with attempts reportedly being made to arrange shooters to target them. Habib issued a strong warning in his social media post, saying that even if his life was taken, those allegedly responsible would eventually face the consequences of their actions. While discussing the alleged threats, Habib's directly accused Chadhar of being behind what he described as continued harassment. He used strong language against the Punjab lawmaker while making the allegations. The latest claims have added a new and more serious dimension to the already bitter dispute between Iqbal and Chadhar. The matter is currently before the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), which is dealing with allegations linked to the controversy. The dispute has so far involved allegations of online harassment, cyberbullying, threats and blackmail. Both sides have levelled accusations against each other as the conflict has continued to unfold. The actress had accused Chadhar of allegedly subjecting her to online harassment, cyberbullying, threats and blackmail. Following her complaint, the NCCIA registered a case against the lawmaker under relevant provisions of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) and the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC). Habib's latest allegations have therefore introduced an additional and potentially serious aspect to the dispute, with claims now extending beyond the alleged online harassment and threats to an alleged danger to the lives of those involved.
