EDITORIAL: Cameron's growth swing is welcome news for SWOK
This week's announcement that Cameron University's enrollment continues on an upswing was welcome news, not only for the community but the region as a whole.
Numbers released by the university indicate jumps in what seem to be all the important metrics: First-time, full-time degree-seeking students increased more than 10% from Fall 2025; and the number of first-time freshmen grew nearly 7.6%. This year's freshman class includes 511 students, according to a story in this week's Constitution.
