8月末の外貨準備高が過去最大の減少、「外貨証券」も大幅減＝財務省
［東京 ７日 ロイター］ - 財務省は７日、８月末の外貨準備高が１兆２０７５億ドル（約１８８兆円、１ドル１５６円換算）に減少したと発表した。外貨準備のうち、米国債を含む「外貨証券」は８３９５億ドルに減少。比較可能な２０００年４月以降で最大の減り幅だった。
７月末の外貨準備高は１兆２８７０億ドルだった。同省によると、前月末との比較では減少幅、減少率ともに過去最大となった。
外貨準備のうち、外貨証券の減少幅・減少率も最大だった。米国債取引は後日決済が一般的で、７月末時点では為替介入の影響が反映されていなかった。
