First Take: Trains

Dealing with car issues always makes me wish we had a more advanced public transit system. While listening to your favorite music in your own car is nice from time to time, not having to drive to your destinations at all sounds cool as well. Every few months my friends and I like to attend fighting game tournaments in other places like Phoenix. Having the option to attend a faraway tournament without being debuffed from having to drive would surely conserve some mental energy (whether that would make enough of a difference in my bracket placement is another story). Even just being able to go on a day trip to San Diego would be cool. While I'm sure the logistics of building something like Japan's bullet train system would not be a cakewalk, I think it's a worthy investment for everyone, not just nerdy Smash players.
