Melissa Farris defaced sacrifice, memories and a promise, not just granite
Melissa Farris defaced the WWII Memorial Aug. 13 with soap and spray paint. She's been arrested and undoubtedly will serve time in prison. I've written a letter to her that I hope she will eventually read:
Dear Melissa Farris: Before you defaced their memorial, I wish you had known their stories.
