Wanted: Bigger say for minorities in govt After 1,000 days of the Congress government, minorities are still awaiting tangible change. Unemployment, delays in scholarships and fee reimbursement, limited education and skill opportunities, inadequate financial support for youth and small businesses, and difficulties accessing welfare schemes continue to affect families. Minorities also need stronger representation at the highest level, as one minister cannot reflect an entire community. Young leaders like Faheem Qureshi should be given meaningful platforms to ensure minority concerns directly reach the government and Congress High Command directly.
