This is the first general planning project for Can Tho City after the administrative reorganization, covering all 103 commune-level administrative units and related coastal areas. The consultation process was conducted in accordance with Clause 7, Article 37 of the Law on Urban and Rural Planning. The City People's Committee is the planning organization agency; the Department of Construction is the planning agency and directly presides over the consultation process. The City Construction Department respectfully requests that citizens take the time to study the document and submit their feedback to the City Construction Department, through the People's Committee of the commune or ward where they reside, or through the aforementioned channels. The deadline for submitting feedback is September 16, 2026. All opinions from the community, relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals will be fully compiled, studied, considered, and explained according to regulations before finalizing the dossier for submission to the competent authority for appraisal and approval.
