We are in a time when our existence as a nation is under attack by a deranged bully who has immense financial, economic and military forces under his control. Is this so different from the terrible troubles faced by Winston Churchill in 1940 and 1941? He had, within the U.K., a large number of doubters who wanted him to accommodate their enemy. Churchill stood up to them and to the enemy and, at great cost, was ultimately victorious. He had help from friendly nations during those years, as we do now. I do not think our problems are really different from his. I desperately want to see his courage, his inspiration and his determination in our leaders. Robert Gilmour Newmarket
