What's great about getting old? Nothing!
My nearly 90-year-old mom broke her hip. She fell and broke her other hip in March. That's two broken hips in four months. I was worried.
If you have ever gotten that phone call, you know the next few weeks unfold in fast-forward. ER, surgery, a blur of doctors talking about hardware like she is a house that needs a new roof, and then rehab.
