Sun Herald readers weigh in on local and national topics. Who made the original claim that Nolan Wells was killed by his friends? Why would someone accuse the friends in harming him? Were the lawyers making these statements to invite violence to the friends? I don't recall reading that law enforcement or any other entity making that accusation. Whomever it was should be punished right beside those who made the threats. They were told of injustice and that gave them the courage to make such threats. I think it's telling that all the people being arrested about Nolan Wells-related death threats are from out of state. It just goes to show that the people of Mississippi want only for the investigation to be allowed to happen and the results revealed. I don't understand why there wasn't a moment of silence for Nolan Wells at Ocean Springs' first football game. Is that really controversial? Do we really think the fans would have done anything other than observe the moment of silence? Once again the suspects are claiming defamation. What is not true? He disappeared. You say you left him on the island, and he turns up dead. Oh, his phone and keys were on your boat. It looks very suspicious. We are hearing details about all these other arrests before the grand jury hears information. This silence is suspicious. There we go. I finally saw one of the many influencers reading off a script apologizing for their words regarding the Nolan Wells investigation. May there be many more to come. Regardless of my mental state, I'd never kill my children, especially in such a brutal way. Wrapping rubber exercise bands around their necks? No, this was evil and time-consuming.
