Flick Fact: The corner of Veterans and College in Normal is busy. Why was it once literally sleepy?
Question: That ever-popular Chick fil-A restaurant at College Avenue and Veterans Parkway that's sided by a Chase Bank outlet and a Blaze Pizza was only 15 years ago the site of something entirely different. Can you remember what was on that corner instead?
Answer: From 1988 to 2011, the corner of Veterans and College was site of a Signature Inn motel.
